Hello!

I am Alisa and I paint almost every day. I started painting in 2013. Although my first watercolour painting was not pretty at all, it didn’t discourage me. In fact, I never stopped painting and now it is my passion and my career.

I am a full-time watercolourist working from home in a lovely garden studio in Pretoria. I studied Teaching at NWU Potchefstroom and I loved it. But Saturdays were my favourite, because it meant painting to me.

After I finished my studies, I pursued my watercolour dream and became a full-time artist. I do custom watercolour portraits, Live Art, book illustrations and other commissions.

If you aspire to become an artist one day, my advice to you is to never stop creating and don’t be afraid to make mistakes
